Job summary

Ilocatum in the Northwest Indiana region near the Greater Chicagoland area is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon to join its physician-led group.

You will provide cranial and complex spine care, collaborate with neurologists and orthopedists, use EPIC with AI enhancements, participate in call, and contribute to quality initiatives, with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Completed ACGME-accredited Neurological Surgery residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active Indiana medical license or eligible for licensure within 90–120 days.
• Expertise in general neurosurgery and/or subspecialty fellowship areas (e.g., spine, vascular, skull base, neuro-oncology).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cranial and complex/general spine neurosurgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Conduct clinical evaluations, patient workups, and perform elective and emergent procedures.
• Participate in an equitable, shared neurosurgery call rotation.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Collaborate with neurologists, orthopedic spine surgeons, pain management, and critical care teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety protocols, and patient care pathways.
