Job summary

Compass Pathways seeks a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of our novel mental health therapy across Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding markets. This field-based role will engage psychiatrists and treatment centers to deliver education and enable patient access.

The position focuses on launching a first-in-class therapy, coordinating with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Operations for compliant, patient-centric execution and robust territory planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement.
• Experience with buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics.
• Prior authorization and payer processes.
• Proven success launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Experience with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, or complex site-of-care models.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists and treatment centers.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support guidance on referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to optimize delivery workflows and onboarding.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, patient flow and operational considerations.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Ops for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and resources.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, patient-centric engagement.
