Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience.
• Experience in neuroscience area strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment preferred.
• Health education experience is a strong asset.
• Academic background in healthcare is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build strong relationships; travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, develop and execute effective business plans.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, sample accounting, expense reports etc.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including PhRMA Code and Ipsen policies.
