Job summary

Axle is seeking a Scientific Program Analyst III to join the NIH/NINDS team in Rockville, MD. The role centers on scientific and programmatic support for research portfolios in neural circuits, synaptic transmission, and translational neuroscience.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or Cognitive Science and Biopsychology, plus strong data analysis skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or Cognitive Science and Biopsychology.
• Strong data collection and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Experience supporting neuroscience research programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and programmatic support to the NINDS Division of Neuroscience, CSC Cluster.
• Prepare reports of data analysis for presentation and funding-related activities.
• Create scientific and programmatic presentation materials for meetings and conferences.
• Organize and maintain project documentation and communications; track progress using project management tools.
• Coordinate with staff on logistics for scientific meetings and related activities.
