Job summary

Axle is seeking a Scientific Program Manager to join our team supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on managing a complex MDN grants portfolio, applying neuroscience expertise to assess merit and mission fit, and coordinating workshops and cross‑NIH activities with staff.

Qualifications

Master's degree required; background in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or Cognitive Science & Biopsychology.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific and programmatic support to NIH grants portfolio and MDN initiatives.
Coordinate workshops, meetings, and cross-NIH activities; prepare summaries and reports.
Advise investigators and staff on program priorities, policy requirements, and NOFO responsiveness.
