Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Houston, TX territory. This role focuses on educating healthcare providers on reimbursement, access, and fulfillment for Janssen therapies, with substantial field time to support providers and payers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in reimbursement or account management.
• Experience with pharmacy and medical buy-and-bill concepts and coding.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to navigate payer policies and manage access in a matrix organization.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and reside in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims, coding, and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with field support, sales, and account managers; serve as access expert.
• Lead compliant discussions on access and fulfillment with the team.
• Proactively address access barriers using data and account management skills.
• Address urgent access and affordability issues with speed and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support and problem-solving.
• Build trust-based relationships and manage territory logistics and planning.
