Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Miami, FL territory (Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach & Boca Raton). The role focuses on improving patient access to therapies, educating HCPs, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve reimbursement challenges.

Travel up to 75% is required. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in account management or reimbursement within healthcare, with strong communication and payer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years account management or reimbursement experience in provider settings.
• Experience with pharmacy and medical buy & bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience.
• Strong communication skills and relationship building.
• Must have US driver’s license and permanent residence in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members (sales reps, key account managers) as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Utilize data and account management skills to address access barriers proactively.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain and grow knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
• Grow knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to support patients.
