Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead access and reimbursement efforts across the Pittsburgh territory, including PA and neighboring regions. The role involves education of healthcare providers, collaboration with sales and medical teams, and proactive problem-solving to improve patient access to J&J therapies.

The FRM will allocate substantial on-site time with HCPs, partner with managed care colleagues, and ensure adherence to high ethical and compliance

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of medication access channels (pharmacy and medical benefit) including buy & bill or AOB.
• Demonstrates critical thinking.
• Ability to analyze highly complex data to accelerate patient access.
• Ambitious with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
• Keeps current on changes in product coverage, access knowledge, and market conditions.
• Understands the evolving healthcare ecosystem and payer practices.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, and coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support teams and be the access/reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with stakeholders.
• Use data to address access barriers and improve patient access.
• Engage with managed care colleagues on policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support with strategic problem-solving.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Plan territory logistics, routing, and account business plans.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to share insights on access and affordability.
