Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations to join our Development Office. The role supports the Neuroscience Institute and advances philanthropy by managing corporate and foundation portfolios, identifying prospects, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to meet annual fundraising goals.

The position requires 7-10 years in fundraising with a bachelor’s degree. Expect collaborative work with clinicians and researchers, and a mix of on-site and hybrid

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of fundraising or related, transferable experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience devising and implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies for corporate and foundation entities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and Grow Donor and Prospect Portfolios: Actively manage a portfolio of institutional prospects/donors, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships to secure new and increased funding.
• Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategies: Formulate, document, and implement solicitation and stewardship strategies, including moves management, proposal writing, and donor engagement plans.
• Foster Collaborative Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as faculty, hospital leadership, researchers, and administrative staff.
• Support Leadership and Volunteer Engagement: Identify, cultivate, and attract volunteer leaders and support their involvement in development activities.
• Ensure Compliance, Documentation: Maintain accurate records in donor databases, adhere to organizational standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Professional Development: Remain current on philanthropy trends to be an effective ambassador for programs and giving opportunities.
