Mass General Brigham, based in the Boston area, is seeking a Director of Philanthropic Relations within the Mass General Brigham Development Office. You will lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship across McLean Hospital and Psychiatry fundraising programs, managing a portfolio of prospects to drive annual targets and strategic gifts.

Collaborating with physicians, faculty and volunteers, you will develop proposals, document moves in Blackbaud CRM, and help advance the mission of Mass

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience devising and implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in data entry, data management and reporting.
• Ability to motivate, engage, influence and work collaboratively with diverse internal and external audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Build and actively manage a portfolio of prospects and donors.
• Meet annual fundraising targets from new and existing donors.
• Conduct donor meetings and prospect qualifications annually through proactive and reactive donor identification and engagement.
• Successfully solicit gifts, working with other faculty, volunteers, and administrative staff as appropriate.
• Create, maintain and strengthen collaborative relationships with hospital and institutional partners, meeting with them regularly to encourage and support their engagement in philanthropic efforts, and provide progress updates.
• Formulate, document and execute prospect and donor moves management strategies.
• Fully document work in the donor database, Blackbaud CRM.
• Work with prospects to develop and enhance the relationship to Mass General Brigham and the department of Psychiatry, leveraging that relationship to maximize giving.
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising teams to achieve team and department goals.
• Develop an understanding of the research, clinical, teaching and community missions, and cross-team disciplines, and collaborate to produce case statements and proposals.
