Allina Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant to support patient care during permanent night shifts at our Minneapolis site. The role requires assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, and patient comfort under RN supervision.

Shifts are 12 hours with a 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period) and every-other weekend rotation. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and compassionate care within a not-for-profit system.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or 17 with a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program OR completion of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program OR completion of the Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy Program OR previous direct patient care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform personal care interventions (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming) and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Collect and document vital signs and health observations.
• Register and respond to patient call lights and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition and meals, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Support RN with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes; transport medications as allowed.
