Allina Health is hiring for a nursing assistant role on the night shift at our Minneapolis location. This position supports direct patient care under RN supervision, including feeding, hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and safety procedures.

The role requires CNA training or equivalent clinical experience, BLS certification, and a commitment to safe patient handling, with 8-hour night shifts and rotating weekends. This is a part-time opportunity within a large not-for-profit health system.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or 17 with high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program OR completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program OR completion of the Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy Program OR previous direct patient care experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association OR from American Red Cross OR Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Performs personal care/interventions as assigned and follows care plans
• Collects and documents vital signs and health observations
• Assists with feeding, bathing, grooming, mobility, transfers and ROM
• Maintains patient safety, fall prevention and comfort
• Transports medications within the site as allowed
• Documents according to guidelines and reports abnormal findings to RN
