Job summary

Lundbeck seeks a Neuroscience Account Manager to promote our psychiatry portfolio to psychiatrists and institutional accounts. You will lead sales strategies, develop relationships, and apply clinical knowledge to drive performance within a defined territory near Smithtown, with boundaries Amityville to Montauk.

Travel up to 30–40% domestically is required. The role offers a competitive salary range, incentive target, plus comprehensive benefits and a company car, with residency within 40 miles

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
• 4+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence network.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use data-based insights to create opportunities, allocate resources, monitor progress and adjust direction to maximize sales performance.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections, close with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development: build and maintain productive internal and external relationships.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: map account linkages and apply therapeutic knowledge to opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: adhere to policies and FDA regulations.
