Job summary

Lundbeck in the Suffolk County, NY area is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio to psychiatrists and institutional accounts, including community mental health centers and hospitals.

You will execute sales strategies, cultivate key relationships, and apply therapeutic knowledge while coordinating with cross-functional teams; travel up to 40% to meet customers across the United States.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
• 4+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key customers
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries
• Driving is required; valid driver's license in good standing
• Meeting and complying with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers is required

Responsibilities

• Lead promotion of psychiatry portfolio to psychiatrists and institutional accounts, including community mental health centers and hospitals
• Execute sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance
• Develop relationships with customers and utilize total office account management
• Apply local market and therapeutic area expertise to uncover opportunities
• Navigate reimbursement dynamics to address payer access issues
• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and Lundbeck policies
