Qualifications

• Neurology knowledge and veterinary skills relevant to neurosurgery and critical care.
• Surgical experience and anesthesia management in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to monitor and manage anesthesia and patient vitals.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Calculates medical math including mcg/mg, %/mg.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Discharge neuro patients with client education.
• Interpret ECG and arrhythmias.
• Prepare for MRI and CT procedures.
• Provide nursing care to stable patients.
• Perform callbacks and refill medications.
• Take client histories and convey to clinician.
• Perform physical exams and assess vitals.
