Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Florida is hiring a Neurology Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative team dedicated to diagnosing and treating complex neuro cases. Pay ranges $20.00–$40.00 per hour and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced neurologic procedures is preferred.
• Strong anesthesia experience and critical patient care skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clinicians and clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently calculate and administer complex medication dosages, including CRIs and anesthetic protocols.
• Safely induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia for neurology procedures.
• Monitor anesthetized patients using advanced physiologic parameters and respond to changes.
• Operate and troubleshoot infusion and syringe pumps.
• Maintain high attention to detail while managing critically ill neurology patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for hospitalized neurology patients.
• Obtain medical histories and communicate relevant information to clinicians.
• Educate clients on neurologic patient care and postoperative expectations.
• Perform client follow-up communications and medication refills.
