Qualifications

• Must have passion for animal care and a strong desire to learn.
• Experience in a fast-paced veterinary environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Educate clients and gather patient histories.
• Perform physical exams and monitor vital signs.
• Discharge neuro patients with client education.

Skills

Strong knowledge base in veterinary care

Ability to calculate medical math

Comfortable with IVC placement

Experience with anesthesia monitoring

Client education skills

Education

Certification as Veterinary Technician
