Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a physician to provide medical services in general care and hospital settings.

The role includes ongoing patient care, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. The physician will perform history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate care with referring physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced-based medicine.
• Coordinate patient care and make referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, et cetera, as needed.
• Collaborates and communicates with other professionals, nurses, physicians, and outside agencies regarding patient care.
