Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• Licensed by the state licensure board within the state of practice; board certification/eligibility in the specialty as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations of patients.
• Provides high-quality, cost-effective medical care based on evidence-based practice.
• Adheres to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows safety policies.
• Collaborates with referring physicians, patients, and families; coordinates care with other health professionals.
• Engages in education of patients and families and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
