Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Physician to provide medical services in the general care and hospital settings. The physician will deliver high-quality, cost-effective care and participate in quality, patient satisfaction and performance improvement initiatives.

Duties include history and physical exams, communication with patients, families and referring physicians, coordinate care, and educate patients. MD or DO licensure and board certification/eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current MD or DO license in state of practice.
• Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate medical board.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Communicate with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed.
• Educate patients and families; participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Education
