Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a physician to provide high-quality medical care in both practice and hospital settings. The physician will perform history and physical exams, participate in quality initiatives, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• MD or DO— licensed by the state licensure board; Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidence-based medicine.
• Make best efforts to adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, range of treatment, and communication appropriate to the age of the patient.
• Provides regular, timely communication with referring physicians, patients and families.
