Job summary

Ascension is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience Department at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans and coordinating care across disciplines.

You will track patient conditions, execute orders, and support discharge planning with the care team. Requires RN licensure and BLS; ALS skills are preferred for enhanced patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active nursing licensure (RN) in good standing.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• ALS and Pediatric ALS are preferred.
• Diploma or higher in nursing from an accredited program.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
