• Healthcare experience in a hospital setting or private medical practice.
• Patient-first communication and high-quality customer service.
• Ability to thrive on 50–100 inbound/outbound calls per day per person.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Epic EHR workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound calls for Neurology using established greetings and service standards.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance; schedule or reschedule appointments and procedures.
• Process e-referral work queues and manage pre/post-visit requirements in Epic.
• Take prescription refill requests and route for prior authorizations per payer guidelines.
• Record and route detailed clinical messages to providers per protocols.
• Collaborate with managers and clinical teams to resolve scheduling barriers.
