Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Lexington, KY seeks a results-driven field sales representative to execute the company’s product promotion across the assigned territory and align with the local sales strategy.

You will build strong relationships with healthcare providers, manage travel and promotional budgets, track performance, and ensure compliant, ethical promotion while pursuing aggressive territory growth. Travel may include overnights as needed. Must reside within territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) in the territory.
• Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate relevant information to target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Complete monitoring and reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and government entities.
• Complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
