Labela is seeking U.S.-based neurologists at every career stage for high-level clinical consulting to validate, refine, and audit AI-driven clinical reasoning. This is a flexible, remote role designed to influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

You will review cases, provide expert ground truth for complex neurological presentations, EEG/EMG interpretation, and neuroimaging, and advise on AI-driven decision support tools.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Neurology or current senior resident/fellow (PGY-2+) training.
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Audit AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies for alignment with standards.

You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with AAN standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate neurological case presentations, EEG/EMG interpretation, and neuroimaging (MRI, CT).
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for neurological care.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (ABPN), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
• Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training. Established attendings and senior trainees are equally welcome.
• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Position Details

• Environment: 100% Remote
• Commitment: Flexible, project-based hours designed to fit around a clinical or training schedule. This engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026.
• Location Focus: We are prioritizing candidates based in Texas for this cohort, though the role is fully remote across the United States.
