University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor-in-Residence in Physical Therapy. This full-time, 9-month non-tenure track faculty position emphasizes teaching in the entry-level DPT program, conducting research, and mentoring student capstone projects.

The focus is on contemporary neurological physical therapy with anticipated start January 2027. The Department of Physical Therapy is housed within the School of Integrated Health Sciences, fully CAPTE

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist eligible for Nevada licensure.
• Terminals degree or DPT with board-certified specialization.
• 5 years of contemporary clinical experience in neurological physical therapy.
• Teaching experience in neurological PT at the graduate level.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to collaborate, solve problems, and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Teach entry-level DPT courses, focusing on contemporary neurological physical therapy.
• Conduct research aligned with accreditation expectations and CAPTE standards.
• Mentor student capstone projects and contribute to scholarly activity.
