The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor, Physical Therapy in the School of Integrated Health Sciences. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position with primary focus on developing a program of research and securing external grant support.

The successful candidate will publish in refereed journals, contribute to the DPT program, and mentor Interdisciplinary Health Science and Neuroscience PhD students.

Qualifications

• Terminal academic doctorate in physical therapy or rehabilitation sciences.
• Licensed physical therapist in the U.S. with eligibility for licensure in Nevada.
• Evidence of scholarship with peer‑reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Develop a program of research leading to publications in refereed journals.
• Pursue external grant funding for research.
• Teach and contribute to the DPT program; mentor Interdisciplinary Health Science/Neuroscience PhD students.
• Engage in university, school and department service activities.
