You will develop data analysis tools, help ensure data integrity, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with scientists and staff across JCVI and partner institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in neuroscience or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or a PhD.
• Experience working with computers in neuroimaging performing duties similar to those described.
• Ability to apply bioinformatics tools and quality control methods to neuroimaging data.
• Familiarity with structural and functional MRI research methods and QA workflows.
• Proficiency with Linux, shell scripting, MATLAB, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Review neuroimaging data to ensure quality and consistency across datasets.
• Perform MRI QA tasks, track phantom scans, and generate QA metrics and graphs.
• Design, implement, and document data analysis and reporting tools.
• Maintain and document quality control procedures and reports for dissemination.
• Train and mentor junior analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with data acquisition sites to resolve data integrity issues.
• Prepare data reports, figures, and supplementary materials for publications.
