Job summary

University of California - San Francisco seeks a motivated Research Data Analyst to join the Quandt lab at the UCSF Diabetes Center. You will aid in lab data management, computational methods, and bionformatics support for genetic risk scores, PhIP-Seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and ATAC-seq projects.

You will collect, organize, and analyze diverse datasets, prepare figures and tables for proposals and manuscripts, and contribute to publications.

Qualifications

• Gaining knowledge of research function and analysis duties.
• Developing statistical analysis and database design skills.
• Managing time to complete assigned parts on deadlines.
• Familiarity with basic data science workflows and modeling tools.
• Proficiency in Python and R programming.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize research data for analysis.
