Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a Neurohospitalist who will examine and treat disorders affecting nerves, spinal cord and brain. Duties include physical exams, ordering tests, interpreting results and coordinating inpatient care.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO, NJ and PA licenses, BC/BE in Neurology, and 3+ years of specialty training. Pay range listed is $318,000.00–$578,681.00 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, CME and PTO.

Qualifications

• NJ and PA medical licenses.
• BC/BE in Neurology.
• 3+ years of specialty training after neurology residency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex neurological problems through history, exam and tests.
• Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
• Order tests and interpret results for optimal care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation.
• Attend training and seminars to stay updated in neurology.
• Participate in on-call schedule in a timely manner.

Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a Neurohospitalist who will be responsible for examining and treating patients who experience disorders, illnesses and injuries that affect the nerves, spinal cord and brain. Their duties include conducting physical examinations, collecting spinal fluid or other samples and running neurological tests to identify problems.

Opportunity Details:

• Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient's history, examining them and conducting neurological tests
• Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed
• Prescribe treatments or medication best suited to improve the patient's condition
• Order tests and interpret results in order to determine the best treatment options
• Keep accurate patient medical records; completing all necessary documentation to allow for timely and efficient billing and claim submittal
• Attend training and seminars to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in neurology
• Participates in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner
