Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA seeks a Clinical Research Assistant II to join the Neurofibromatosis Clinical Research Program. The role focuses on regulatory management, patient recruitment, and study coordination within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Working closely with physicians, nurses, and industry collaborators, you will oversee regulatory binders, assist with protocol adherence, and contribute to mentored research projects such as abstracts and posters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Psychology is required.
• Prior experience as a Clinical Research Assistant or Clinical Research Coordinator preferred.
• Familiarity with IRB processes preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with REDCap preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory activities for trials, including IRB submissions and amendments.
• Identify, screen, consent, and enroll eligible participants per study protocols.
• Coordinate study visits and assessments across clinical services to meet timelines.
• Serve as a liaison among multidisciplinary teams, sponsors, and collaborators.
• Collect, enter, and manage study data in REDCap and other databases.
• Perform data quality checks and track enrollment and deadlines.
• Contribute to mentored research projects such as abstracts or manuscripts.
