Boston Children's Hospital seeks a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee a natural history study in rare childhood-onset neurological diseases. You will recruit, consent, schedule visits, and coordinate logistics, working closely with clinicians and families in a dynamic research team.

The role involves IRB submissions, data management in REDCap, and collaboration with pediatric patient advocacy groups, with occasional travel and weekend events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, biology, psychology, public health, or related field.
• At least one year of clinical research or healthcare experience.
• Experience with informed consent, IRB submissions, REDCap or Epic, research contracts or budgets, and pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and consent patients and families, and serve as their main point of contact throughout the study.
• Schedule and coordinate study visits, including clinical assessments and biospecimen collection.
• Manage study logistics, including participant travel and reimbursement, sample processing, and shipping.
• Prepare and submit IRB protocols, amendments, and continuing reviews, and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Manage study contracts, agreements, and budgets in collaboration with institutional offices.
• Collect and manage study data in REDCap, and represent the study at patient and family conferences.
