Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Assistant II to coordinate subject recruitment, enrollment, follow-up, and data collection in Neurology. This on-site per diem role includes screen and consent participants, as well as data entry and participation in study meetings.

Required is a Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of research experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline is required
• Masters degree a plus
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in research or clinical program activities required
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Experience with recruiting subjects and ethical/technical conduct of research

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up of research subjects
• Data collection and database entry, including transcription and coding of qualitative data
• Prepare reports, presentations, and data analyses for study meetings
• Obtain informed consent from subjects and/or families
• Maintain and track study documentation, IRB approvals, and amendments as necessary
• Perform general administrative duties to support study activities
