Sentara Healthcare is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join their team in Norfolk, VA. The position includes a sign-on bonus and may require travel to other hospitals as needed. Shift is Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Sentara Obici is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team!

SHIFT: M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm; Call Required. Travel to other area hospitals is required, as needed.

A Neurodiagnostic Tech performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered, charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.

Certification/Licensure:

• Basic Life Support

Experience:

• 1 Year of experience as an EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech or;

• 1 year of experience is waived for new graduates of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.
