Job Summary: Provides daily oversight of Diagnostic Neurology department. Provides high quality technical neurodiagnostic services appropriate to age of patient, which contributes to positive patient outcome. Maintains cooperative working relationships with other departments and members of the medical system. Ensures the continuous delivery of high-quality patient care by consistently seeking new knowledge and application of skills obtained. Is the Subject Matter Expert for the Diagnostic Neurology technologists.

Education/Experience/Certifications to Qualify:
- High school diploma/GED and graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) in Neurodiagnostic Technology or 18 months experience in a related field required.
- 5+ Years of experience as a Diagnostic Neurology Technologist.
- Obtains R.EEG T., through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
- Board registry in EMG/EP/Sleep/NUS/LTM may be acceptable.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Lead/Assign the work of the Diagnostic Neurology Technologists.
- Assist Diagnostic Neurology Technologists with complex or unique matters.
- Performs the most complex/advanced studies.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff to innovate and implement new techniques.
- Assists manager in daily running of the lab, and initiatives throughout the year.
- Responsible for staff scheduling to keep department workflow optimized.
- Communicates with coworkers and physicians about changes and anticipated needs in the department.
- Responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
- Responsible for keeping the department Joint Commission ready.
- Assists all areas of Diagnostic Neurology.
- On call responsibilities for EEG or appropriate department.
