Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician to conduct EEG and EMG tests, document results, and ensure patient safety and comfort. High school diploma is required, with a preference for an Associates degree. BLS credentials are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• BLS American Heart Association CPR/ACLS/BLS credentials may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Obtain supplies prior to test and review patient medical history to determine procedures.
• Explain procedures to patient and prepare for testing, including electrode placement.
• Operate EEG/EMG/NCS equipment and adjust settings for optimal results.
• Document and finalize test results, ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and refer complex problems to Biomedical services.
