Job summary

UT Health San Antonio seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform EEG, nerve conduction studies, and autonomic testing. The role includes assisting with EMG, tilt table testing, and coordinating patient studies per AS ETT guidelines while ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.

Minimum 2 years EEG experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred; high school diploma or GED required. The position is full-time and on-site at UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience independently performing EEG procedures in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG recordings and NCS; conduct BAER, VEP, and SEP testing as required.
• Assist with EMG and tilt table procedures.
• Interpret wave characteristics and provide timely reports to the Neurologist.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain EEG equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain inventory and ensure regulatory compliance; schedule studies efficiently.
