Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform EEG, nerve conduction studies, and autonomic testing in a hospital setting. You will place electrodes, position patients, and ensure high-quality data collection for brain and nerve diagnostics.

You will operate and maintain EEG equipment, assist with EMG and tilt table testing, review patient history, and document procedures. A minimum of two years’ independent EEG experience and familiarity with EPIC scheduling are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience independently performing EEG procedures.
• Knowledge of EEG, NCS, and autonomic testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate EEG recordings and nerve conduction studies.
• Interprets wave characteristics and reports findings to the Neurologist promptly.
• Operates and maintains EEG equipment and related devices.
• Ensures procedures are completed in an organized, efficient manner.
• Assists physicians with EMG and tilt table testing as needed.
• Reviews patient history and documents procedures.
