Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitors system and camera controls to detect events.
• Alerts physician and staff when seizures occur.
• Communicates with patients and staff to obtain event information.
• Documents EEG observations in EMR.
• Completes hospital training to activate rapid response and other systems.
• Assists neurodiagnostic technologists with supplies and electrode handling.
• Adjusts controls to optimize recordings and follows activation procedures.
• Recognizes artifacts and documents/mitigates them.
• Troubleshoots equipment with biomed or manufacturer support.
