Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within first 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of LTM 100 Introduction to LTM for EMU personnel within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitors system and camera controls and notifies staff during events.
• Alerts physician, nursing and clinical staff when seizures or paroxysmal events occur.
• Documents EEG observations in EMR and communication with patients and staff.
• Completes hospital training per established protocols for events and safety.
• Assists neurodiagnostic technologists with supplies and equipment.
