Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, LTMs, and related studies with strong attention to infection control and accurate documentation. The role offers multiple shift options (7:30a-4:00p, 12:30p-8:00p, 7:00a-7:30p) and a sign-on bonus with relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Candidate has independent EEG tech experience
• BLS certification within 30 days
• Shifts include 7:30a–4:00p, 12:30p–8:00p, or 7:00a–7:30p
• Ability to document data accurately in charts

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects EEG equipment per infection control policy
• Performs EEGs/LTMs and documents data in patient charts
• Explains tests to patients to optimize results
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs when needed
• Notifies Neuroscience physician of grossly abnormal tracings as appropriate
