Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, conduct studies, and maintain equipment in accordance with policy. The role requires prior independent EEG tech experience and offers multiple shift options and a sign-on bonus with relocation assistance for movers over 50 miles.

Responsibilities include completing EEGs/LTMs, documenting data, and providing patients with clear explanations to ensure optimal results.

Qualifications

• Independent EEG experience is required.
• Strong communication with patients and team members.
• Willingness to adapt to shift changes and new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment with appropriate solutions; follows infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explains tests and procedures to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs all types of EEGs including bedside and lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients and provides age-appropriate instructions.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Potential to perform all neurodiagnostic tests within competence.
