Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, LTMs, and related studies under supervision. The role requires independent EEG tech experience and offers multiple shift options with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moving 50+ miles.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting results, and maintaining equipment per infection control policies. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion in Neurodiagnostic Tech or related field.
• Associate's Degree in related field acceptable.
• Experience in Neurodiagnostic Tech may substitute education.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment and follows infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explains tests to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs various EEGs including bedside, electrical cerebral silence, and standard lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients for examinations and provides age-appropriate information.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
