Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, LTMs, and related studies, under supervision. The role emphasizes independent EEG experience and adherence to infection control and patient communication standards.

The position offers multiple shifts (7:30a-4:00p, 12:30p-8:00p, 7:00a-7:30p) with a sign-on bonus and relocation support for moves over 50 miles. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• EEG tech requires proven independent EEG experience.
• Commitment to infection control and data documentation.
• Ability to explain tests to patients to obtain optimal results.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects EEG equipment per policy.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs and documents data in patient chart.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure optimal results.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Performs various neurodiagnostic tests within competence.
