Carle Health is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, LTMs, and related studies with careful documentation and patient instruction. The role requires prior independent EEG experience and offers multiple shift options.

Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for moving 50+ miles. Candidates should be prepared to engage in equipment troubleshooting and adapt to policy-driven workflows while ensuring patient safety and accurate results.

Qualifications

• Independent EEG tech experience required.
• BLS certification within 30 days from hire.
• Willingness to work multiple shifts as listed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment with approved solutions.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs as required.
• Documents data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explains tests and procedures to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs EEGs including bedside, electrical cerebral silence, and lab EEGs.
• Notifies Neuroscience physician of abnormal findings when appropriate.
• Troubleshoots equipment and coordinates repairs as needed.
