Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an END technologist to support neurological diagnostics. Under supervision from a neurologist, you will perform EEG tests, attach scalp electrodes, and record brain wave activity to aid in diagnosing brain diseases such as epilepsy or stroke.

The role requires ABRET END eligibility or certification within one year, strong pattern recognition, and the ability to work independently with patients across all ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered or certified in Neuro-Diagnostic Testing (ABRET END) or eligible.
• Certified Registered EEG Technician within one year of starting the role.
• Competent in neuro-diagnostic procedures including monitoring stats and pattern recognition.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making.
• Ability to work with patients from neonates to elderly.
• Basic knowledge of computers is useful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in EEG/END diagnostics under supervision of a neurologist.
• Attach electrodes and record brain wave signals.
• Interpret amplitudes and frequencies across brain areas.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during testing.
