Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEG procedures on patients with suspected neurologic injury or disease.

The role includes preparing patients, applying electrodes, and collecting data to support interpretation by clinicians. Candidates should have a CAAHEP END program credential, an R EEG T certification, BLS, and at least three years of EEG experience in a patient care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited END program is required.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electroneurodiagnostic procedures on patients with suspected neurologic injury or disease.
• Completes technical EEG reports and maintains accurate medical records and documentation.
• Identifies and performs basic and intermediate technical troubleshooting and artifact identification and elimination.
• Monitors patients and maintains safety during procedures; communicates with care team.
• Mentors other team members and provides supervision.
• Performs limited investigational procedures per policy.
• Stocks and maintains supplies and equipment; preps patient rooms for EEG.
