Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, ABRET eligibility, and certification within one year. The role requires independence and competence in neuro-diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. END program preferred.
• Registered or certified in Neuro-Diagnostic Testing, or eligible per ABRET END Exam Eligibility Requirements.
• Must be Certified Registered EEG T within one year of obtaining role, required.
• Must demonstrate competence performing neuro-diagnostic procedures; monitoring stats; pattern recognition, epilepsy.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision from a Neurologist, the END technologist plays an essential role in the diagnosis of brain diseases by performing EEG tests and recording brain waves.
• The technologist attaches electrodes to the patient’s head to measure differences in amplitude and frequency of electrical potentials across brain regions.
