Responsibilities

• Prioritize activities and coordinate desk communications during codes or emergencies.
• Transcribe physician orders into the computer, Kardex, or requisition forms.
• Schedule tests/procedures and relay information to relevant departments.
• Maintain patient records with accurate data entry and chart organization.
• Assist in interdepartmental transfers and discharge documentation.
