Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Unit Clerk/Clerical Associate for the General Neuro EMU PCU on the night shift. You will coordinate and assemble patient chart documentation and support the care team on the unit on a Regular schedule.

Under the supervision of the RN, you will process orders, verify forms for accuracy, disseminate information on the unit, and help maintain efficient patient flow while delivering courteous service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; previous patient care experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/gather all documentation related to the patient chart.
• Provide clerical support under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Process orders, verify forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Disseminate information on the unit to the care team.
